COMMON QUESTIONS
HOW MANY CHILDREN DO YOU SEE AT KIDZ PHYSICAL THERAPY?
We can accommodate 2-3 kids a month at this point in time. If the need becomes more, we will work on solutions.
WHAT IS YOUR NEW PATIENT PROCEDURE?
Each session requires the completion of the following: medical history/update, doctor referral/clearing, photo release (if desired), goals/needs to address during the program, and Kidz Contract form. We will provide these forms after you begin the registration process and are working on making them virtual.
DO YOU PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION TO THE FAMILY AFTER THE SESSION?
Upon completion of a summer program, the child will leave with: a certificate of completion, pictures showing their progress, a home exercise program to use as you wish, a t-shirt, and (upon request) paperwork to provide to your insurance company.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED?
At this time we accept check or money order. We are working to set up a system to allow credit card use.
ARE FAMILY MEMBERS ALLOWED TO SIT IN ON SESSIONS?
Parents, grandparents, and siblings are welcome to stay and help out. Please note that if it is a distraction vs a motivation, it may be kindly suggested to step out. Feel free to run errands or take some well deserved time to yourself during your child's session. It is often easier for the therapist and child to work without additional people in the room. There will be times caregivers will be asked to stick around to be shown ideas/options for carryover at the conclusion of the "camp". We do provide video clips and pictures so you can see what your child is accomplishing and working on.
