At Kidz Physical Therapy, while we don't have the space or know how to house real Horses for the benefits of Hippotherapy/Horse Therapy....... we have the next best thing. We have something that mimics riding a horse. This tool is a fun way to work on weight shifts and core strength. It also helps stretch out tight leg muscles. A child can sit on it and hold on independently with close stand by from the Physical Therapist or can use any number of supports to assist their success (bungees, overheads, immobilizers, wraps, etc). Just one example of a way we like to Horse around at Kidz! Added bonus... no need to plug your nose to clean up after this horse (wink wink).
